I've been dabbling in photography since buying my first digital camera in 1998. These days it's become a pretty serious hobby. I'm based in Melbourne, Australia.

I am a member of the Melbourne Camera Club and acted as the co-ordinator of their Portrait Group for 2005-2007. As part of their regular course for beginners, I have taught the session on "Light and Lighting" (2008-2012) and the supplementary session on "Digital Photography" (2005-2011).

You can see some of my photos inside the galleries above. My photos have been used on websites for the Rosstown Hotel, Jamon Sushi, the Lyrebird Arts Council, singer/songwriter Deborah Conway, jazz singer Connie Lansberg, 'blues' duo Matt Walker & Ashley Davies, Sydney band The Live Room and in the artwork of albums by Stephen Cummings, The Dunaways and The Prozac Blues Band.

My primary interest is portrait photography. I enjoy the process of working with a 'model' to get an image that we both think is damn cool (what's the point otherwise?). I also dabble in gig, event and children photography.

I'm always looking for willing models so if you would like to be shot by me (I'm in Melbourne, Australia), just send me an email. I can shoot on-location, in my basic home studio or I have access to a larger studio space with lights, backdrops etc. My normal policy is to give models a DVDROM of all of their shots for their personal use.

In 2009 I ran a photographic "scavenger hunt" at Melbourne Camera Club - you can find information about that here.
